DRILLER

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead by example to build a strong, knowledgeable and safe crew
• Promote the safe operation of rig functions and controls
• Document daily activities
• Perform and record daily checks on all rig equipment
• Demonstrate safety leadership by participating in drills and conducting safety meetings

Qualifications:

• First Line
• H2S Alive
• Standard First Aid
• Confined Space
• Fall Protection
• Journeyman Driller Ticket

MOTORHAND

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the driller and derrick hand as required during drilling operations
• Accountable for the fuelling and fluid levels of all equipment and vehicles
• Maintaining all equipment

Qualifications:

• H₂S Alive
• Standard First Aid
• Fall Protection
• Able to endure extreme weather conditions

DERRICKHAND

Responsibilities:

• To assist in drilling operations including: making connections, tripping in, nippling up, and pulling core tubes
• To provide leadership and training to the crew
• Maintain rig pumps
• To maintain all mud systems and fluid levels
• Lead by example in all aspects of safety on the worksite

Qualifications:

• H₂S Alive
• Confined Space
• Fall Protection
• Standard First Aid
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions

FLOORHAND

Responsibilities:

• Assist the driller and derrickman as required during drilling operations
• Maintain cleanliness of all equipment on lease
• Maintain cleanliness of all vehicles inside and out
• Participates in safety meetings and practices safety first

Qualifications:

• Work well in a team environment
• H₂S Alive
• Standard First Aid
• Fall Protection
